Glenrothes is a constituency for the British House of Commons . It was formed as part of the 2005 constituency reform and largely replaced the disbanded Central Fife constituency , but areas of the Kirkcaldy constituency were also added.

Glenrothes covers the central areas of the Council Area Fife . In addition to the eponymous city of Glenrothes , it includes the cities and towns of Methil , Buckhaven and Windygates . The constituency sends a representative.
