Caithness, Sutherland and Easter Ross is a constituency for the British House of Commons . It was created in 1997 from the former constituency of Caithness and Sutherland and parts of Ross, Cromarty and Skye , and covers the northeastern areas of the Highland Council Area . The constituency of the same name for the Scottish Parliament was abolished in the course of constituency reform in 2011 and merged into the newly created constituency of Caithness, Sutherland and Ross . The constituency sends a representative.
