WWE Elimination Chamber 2017 (in Germany known as WWE No Way Out 2017 ) was a wrestling event of WWE , as the pay-per-view and on the WWE Network aired. It took place on February 12, 2017 at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix , Arizona , United States . It was the seventh edition of the Elimination Chamber since 2010 and the first since May 2015. The event took place for the first time in Arizona and therefore for the first time in Phoenix and in the Talking Stick Resort Arena.

In the run-up to the event, eight matches were scheduled, one of which was for the pre-show . These resulted from the storylines shown on SmackDown Live , one of the WWE's weekly shows , in the weeks leading up to the Elimination Chamber . As the main fight, according to the name of the event, an Elimination Chamber Match was set in which the WWE Championship was fought.

Notes on the event
- The following title changes occurred during the event:
- Naomi defeated Alexa Bliss in a singles match to win the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship ;
- Bray Wyatt defeated AJ Styles , Baron Corbin , Dean Ambrose , John Cena (C) and The Miz in a no-escape match to win the WWE Championship .
- Dolph Ziggler attacked his opponent Kalisto in the run-up to his handicap match , so that Apollo Crews initially had to compete alone. After the match ended with a win for Apollo Crews and Kalisto, Dolph Ziggler attacked them again with a chair.
- The Usos ( Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso ) attacked American Alpha ( Chad Gable & Jason Jordan )after their elimination from the Tag Team Turmoil match, whostill defendtheir WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship against The Ascension ( Konnor & Viktor ) could.
- After leaving the no-escape match, Baron Corbin attacked Dean Ambrose , who in turn was subsequently eliminated by The Miz .
