The European Championship 2015 was the eighth edition of the European Darts Championship . Launched by the PDC organized Dart Tournament was held from 30 October to 1 November 2015 at the first time in Hasselt instead. The tournament is taken into account when calculating the PDC Order of Merit .
qualification
The top 16 of the Order of Merit (world rankings) were automatically qualified for the event. In addition there were the top 8 of the Pro Tour Order of Merit who are not already qualified by the PDC Order of Merit . In addition, the 7 top players of the PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit , who are not from Great Britain and are not already qualified, will compete. There was also a Scandinavian qualifying tournament, the winner of which was also allowed to start. This resulted in a field of 32 participants.
