The 6th European Darts Championship took place from July 4th to 7th, 2013. They were held for the second time in the RWE sports hall in the North Rhine-Westphalian city of Mülheim an der Ruhr .
The final was won by the two-time world champion Adrian Lewis with an 11: 6 win over the defending champion Simon Whitlock .
Most of the European Darts Championship 2013 was broadcast live on German television on Sport1 , while the pay-TV channel Sport1 + broadcast the match days live and in full.
Prize money
A total of £ 200,000 in prize money was distributed. It is the most highly endowed darts tournament in continental Europe .
