Eva Jacqueline Longoria Baston (born March 15, 1975 in Corpus Christi , Texas ) is an American actress , model , director and film / TV producer. She is best known for her role as Gabrielle Solis in the television series Desperate Housewives . In addition to acting, Longoria had appearances as a model and was featured in major advertising campaigns and in men's magazines.

Career

Eva Longoria attended after high school , the Texas A & M University-Kingsville . She graduated from university with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology ( movement science ). She came to Los Angeles through a talent competition , where she got a minor role in the television series Beverly Hills, 90210 in 2000 . Eva Longoria came from a Mexican-American family and grew up with three sisters on a ranch in Corpus Christi, Texas.

She was a cheerleader at college in Kingsville, Texas. From 2002 to January 2004, Longoria was married to actor Tyler Christopher.

In early 2005 she signed an advertising contract with L'Oréal . Longoria is also the official spokesperson for Padres Contra El Cáncer (PADRES), a non-profit organization that helps Latin American children with cancer .

Longoria caused a stir in 2005 when she publicly confessed to Brazilian waxing and vividly described the effects on her sex life in the press.

By January 2011, Longoria was married to the San Antonio Spurs basketball player Tony Parker . The couple had been engaged since December 2006. The civil wedding took place on July 6, 2007 in Paris, the church wedding the following day. The superstitious Tony Parker chose the date “07/07/07”. With the beginning of the fourth season of Desperate Housewives , Longoria was listed with the double name Longoria Parker . After the separation was announced in November 2010, she was listed again without the double name from episode 9 of the seventh season.

As of January 28, 2011, Tony Parker and Eva Longoria have been divorced.

In November 2013, Longoria's relationship with Televisa manager José Bastón became known. The two got engaged in December 2015 and married on May 21, 2016 in Acapulco . Their son was born on June 19, 2018.
