Spruce is a district of the Hohenfels market in the Neumarkt district in Upper Palatinate in Bavaria .

Geographical location

The wasteland lies in the Upper Palatinate Jura of the southern Franconian Jura about 2.5 km southeast of Hohenfels at about 480 m above sea ​​level .

Fichten can be reached via a junction to the northeast from the district road NM 34 or via a community road from Hohenfels. The A 3 federal motorway runs about 3 km to the south ; the next connection points (AS) are AS 94 Parsberg and AS 95 Beratzhausen .

history

In the Salbuch of the Hohenfels rule from 1500, "Viechten" is listed as the new Sölden. Around 1600 the place is recorded as "Viechta" in Christoph Vogel's maps. Towards the end of the Old Kingdom , around 1800, the wasteland consisted of two properties, namely a quarter and an eighth courtyard.

In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the Raitenbuch tax district was formed in the Parsberg district court (later Parsberg district ) around 1810 , including the wasteland of Spruce. With the second Bavarian Gemeindeedikt of 1818 originated Rural Municipality United Bissendorf ten places, including spruce. This community with the last 9 places was incorporated into Hohenfels on May 1st, 1978. Since then, Fichten has been an officially named district of Hohenfels.

Church conditions

Fichten has belonged to the Catholic parish of Hohenfels in the diocese of Regensburg since time immemorial (around 1600 as "Viechta" in Christoph Vogel's map series ) . The children went there in the 19th and 20th centuries. Century about 2 km to the catholic school.
