The Football League Third Division 1994/95 was the third season of the Football League Third Division as only the fourth highest English football league and 37th fourth division season overall.
The two best-placed clubs Carlisle United and FC Walsall rose directly to the Football League Second Division. The clubs in places three to six played the third promoted team in play-off mode. Here the FC Chesterfield prevailed.
Exeter City was able to hold the league as bottom of the table, as the champions of the Football Conference, Macclesfield Town , did not meet the requirements in terms of stadium capacity and thus their promotion was denied. The league was increased to 24 clubs in the following season.
