Franziska Wanninger
Franziska Wanninger (* 1982 in Simbach am Inn ) is a German cabaret artist , author and actor in.
Life
Franziska Wanninger grew up in the Upper Bavarian district of Altötting and completed an apprenticeship as a foreign language correspondent in Passau . After completing her Abitur at the vocational school , she studied German and English for teaching at high schools at the University of Regensburg . She wrote her approval thesis with Hermann Scheuringer about Gerhard Polt . Franziska Wanninger gained her first stage experience as an actress in school and amateur theater and during her studies in Regensburg in an English-speaking theater group at the theater at the university . During this time she also worked for several years at the Regensburg radio station . In 2002/03 she was a scholarship holder in the Parliamentary Sponsorship Program . In the course of this, she also worked in Jim Matheson 's office of representatives in Washington, DC. From 2009-2010, she taught German as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at the University of Oregon in Eugene (Oregon) .
As a writer she is a frequent guest at the reading stage Schwabinger whisk by Michael Sailer . Together with Martin Frank , she wrote a humorous book about Bavaria , which in 2020 was entitled Der famose Freistaat. Understanding Bavaria for beginners and advanced learners is published by Rowohlt Verlag . It was on Der Spiegel magazine's bestseller list for several weeks . Since January 2020 she has her own podcast called Der famose Freistaat , in which she welcomes guests from Bavaria in every episode.

In October 2011, she celebrated her first solo program Just and Margit - where love falls, no bigger part of the premiere. Since then, numerous appearances in Bavaria have followed. and Austria, including in the Munich Lach- und Schießgesellschaft , the Scharfrichterhaus , and in the tavern in the slaughterhouse . In 2012 she won first prize at the Thurn und Taxis Cabaret Prize for her solo program . Together with Christine Eixenberger and Tobias Öller , she appeared in the formation Drei Kritische from 2012 to 2017 . From December 2014 she was on the road with her program Ahoibe-Guad is guad gnua . In 2016 she gave the speech on the official Oktoberfest beer mug of the city of Munich . In 2018 she tested with Martin Frank in the television show O`zapft is! the new rides at the Munich Oktoberfest .
In February 2018 her program premiered fearlessly happy (director: Nepo Fitz ) in the sold-out hall of the Wirtshaus im Schlachthof in Munich .
With her colleague Martin Frank , she has been on tour through Bavaria since October 2018 with the program Wia d'Semmel so da Knödel (directed by Claudia Schlenger and Hanns Meilhamer ).
She is the director of Es geht dahi , the first stage program by young cabaret artist Eva Karl-Faltermeier .

During several longer stays in the USA , she trained as an actress at the Lee Strasberg Drama School in Los Angeles with Robert Hallak and Anne De Salvo . She also took classes with acting coach Doug Warhit .
In 2018 and 2019, she took on the leading role of Eva Braun in both seasons in the satirical SWR2 radio play Act 88 - The Thousand Lives of Adolf Hitler. (by Walter Filz and Michael Lissek )
In two films of the junior director 's Sebastian Schindler she worked as an actor in as: A village is turned upside down (2017) and with the reverse gear forward u (2020). a. with Johann Schuler , Uli Bauer , Michael Altinger and Alexander Liegl .
