Fudbalski savez Crne Gore (abbreviation: FSCG , German: Football Association of Montenegro ) is the name for the football association of the south-eastern European state of Montenegro .

history

The association was founded on March 8, 1931 in Cetinje as Cetinjski nogometni podsavez (German: Cetinj football sub-association). It was the regional sub-organization of the Yugoslav Football Association. After the Second World War , the association was reorganized on August 5, 1945 under its current name. It was also part of the Yugoslav Football Association, which in 2003 was renamed Fudbalski savez Srbije i Crne Gore (German: Football Association of Serbia and Montenegro ) according to the new name of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro . When Montenegro gained full state independence in June 2006, the FSCG was founded on June 28, 2006 as the country's independent football organization. On 27 January 2007 he was in the UEFA added that inclusion in the FIFA took place on 31 May 2007 at the Congress of the World Federation in Zurich.
