The vans GAZelle NEXT ( Russian ГАЗель NEXT) is the car factory GAZ (GAZ) in Nizhny Novgorod , Russia produced and is the successor of GAZelle business . The GAZelle NEXT was presented to the public for the first time in September 2012. The curb weight is given as 1990 kg.

Initially, the only engine available was a four-cylinder turbodiesel from Cummins, made in China , with an output of 120 hp (88 kW) at 3600 rpm. Consumption is given as 10.5 l / 100 km in urban areas, 8.5 l / 100 km outside of town and 9.0 l / 100 km in combination. The engine complies with the Euro 4 emissions standard . The top speed is 134 km / h.

Series production of the GAZelle NEXT started on April 10, 2013. One day later, sales began in the domestic market.

The new price of the GAZelle NEXT should be 650,000 rubles in the basic configuration .

The GAZelle NEXT has also been available in the countries of the European Union since the end of May 2014 . Contract production of the GAZelle NEXT began in Turkey in September 2014 in the Mersa Otomotiv factory for the Turkish market.

The heavy truck URAL NEXT has been using the same cab as the GAZelle NEXT since 2015.
