The GAZ-3308 ( Russian ГАЗ-3308 ) is a four-wheel drive truck from the Russian vehicle manufacturer Gorkowski Avtomobilny Sawod (Russian Горьковский автомобильный завод (ГАЗ)). It was mass-produced from 1997 to early 2020 and is based on the GAZ-3307 without all-wheel drive. The truck is also called "Sadko" (Russian Садко), after the legendary figure of the same name . A variant of the KAwZ-3976 bus uses the chassis of the GAZ-3308 and thus also has all-wheel drive.

The GAZ-3308 is the all-wheel drive version of the GAZ-3307 and replaced the GAZ-66 , which had been in production for over 30 years . From this he took over parts, especially in the chassis area, which were used unchanged for almost 50 years. At first petrol engines were still used, later only versions with diesel engines were available. For a short time the GAZ-562 engine was built under license from Steyr, but this procedure ended in 2001.

Since 2005, a version with a four-ton payload has been manufactured with the GAZ-33086. In addition, various other structures such as mobile lifting platforms, tippers and fire engines were built. In 2014, the Sadko NEXT, a successor to the GAZ-3308, was presented, which went into series production in 2019. In January 2020, production of the GAZ-3308 was stopped.

Due to its good terrain characteristics, the GAZ-3308 is used by various armies . The truck has permanent four-wheel drive, a tire pressure monitoring system, ABS, an optional cable winch and an engine preheater for cold regions.
