The Gabonese national basketball team for women is the selection of Gabonese basketball players that the Fédération Gabonaise de Basket-Ball represents on an international level, for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations, but also in international competitions. The greatest success was ninth place at the 2005 African Cup of Nations . In 1965, the national association joined the world association Fédération Internationale de Basketball (FIBA). In June 2014, the team was not included in the world rankings for women .
