The Kenyan national basketball team for women is the selection of Kenyan women basketball players that the Kenya Basketball Association represents on an international level, for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations, but also in international competitions. His greatest successes were second place at the 1993 African Championships and participation in the 1994 World Cup . In 1965, the national association joined the world association Fédération Internationale de Basketball (FIBA). In June 2014, the team was ranked 66th in the world rankings for women .

The Kenyan women's national basketball team has taken part in the African Games competitions six times . In 1995 , 2003 and 2007 they achieved fifth place, in 2011 sixth and in the 1987 competitions, seventh place, and Kenya also took part in 1991 .
