The Egyptian national basketball team for women is the selection of Egyptian basketball players that the Egyptian Basketball Federation represents on an international level, for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations, but also in international competitions. The greatest success was winning the title at the first two African Championships in 1966 and 1968. In 1934 the national association joined the Fédération Internationale de Basketball (FIBA). In June 2014, the team was ranked 69th in the world for women .

The women's national basketball team of Egypt took part in the African Games competitions four times . In the competitions of 1965 , 1973 and 1995 , the team won the bronze medal, in addition, the national team took part in the 1991 games.
