The Mauritian national basketball team for women is the selection of Mauritian basketball players that the Mauritius Basketball Federation represents on an international level, for example in friendly matches against the selection teams of other national associations, but also in international competitions. The greatest success was twelfth place at the 2009 African Cup of Nations . In 1959, the national association joined the world association Fédération Internationale de Basketball (FIBA). In June 2014, the team was ranked 73rd in the world rankings for women .
