The Ugandan national basketball team for women is the selection of Ugandan female basketball players that the Federation of Uganda Basketball Association represents on an international level, for example in friendly matches against the selection teams of other national associations, but also in international competitions. The greatest success was ninth place at the 1997 African Cup of Nations . In 1963, the national association joined the world association Fédération Internationale de Basketball (FIBA). In June 2014, the team was not included in the world rankings for women .
