The Guinean national basketball team for women is the selection of Guinean female basketball players that the Fédération Guinéenne de Basket-Ball represents on an international level, for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations, but also in international competitions. The greatest success was second place at the 1966 African Championship . In 1962, the national association joined the world association Fédération Internationale de Basketball (FIBA). In June 2014, the team was ranked 70th in the world rankings for women .
