Gattatico is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) in the province of Reggio Emilia in Emilia-Romagna . The municipality is located about 18 kilometers northwest of Reggio nell'Emilia and about 8 kilometers east of Parma . The Enza forms the western border of the municipality to the province of Parma . The municipality's administrative center is in the Praticello district . The municipality belongs to the Unione Val d'Enza .
