Rolo is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 4002 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Reggio Emilia in Emilia-Romagna . The municipality is located about 27 kilometers north-northeast of Reggio nell'Emilia and borders the provinces of Modena and Mantua . The neighboring municipalities are Carpi ( MO ), Fabbrico , Moglia ( MN ), Novi di Modena (MO) and Reggiolo .
