The Geisberger Forst is a 10.32 km² community-free area in the Bamberg district in Bavaria .

The forest area is located east of Bamberg in the Franconian Switzerland-Veldenstein Forest Nature Park within Franconian Switzerland between the immediately adjacent municipal areas of Strullendorf in the south, Litzendorf in the north-west, Heiligenstadt in the east and the also community-free area of Hauptsmoorwald in the west. The eponymous Geisberg is located in the middle of the Geisberger Forest. Here operates Bayerische Rundfunk the transmitter Bamberg / Geisberg .
