production

Many different producers were involved in the production of the album. Tupac's mother, Afeni Shakur, and Suge Knight , the co-founder of Death Row Records , served as executive producers . Most of the beats come from music producer Johnny "J" , who produced seven songs. Daz Dillinger and The Underground Railroad each contributed two instrumentals to the album. Dr. Dre produced the track California Love . There is also one production each by Easy Mo Bee , DJ Quik , QDIII as well as Warren G and Nate Dogg .

Many songs contain samples of songs by other artists.

Cover design

The album cover shows Tupac Shakur's face. He looks at the viewer and wears a black bandana on his head and a Nostril piercing . At the bottom right of the picture are the 2Pac lettering in white and Greatest Hits in red.
