This discography is an overview of the musical works of the American rapper Tupac Shakur ( 2Pac ) and his pseudonym Makaveli . According to sources, he has sold around 75 million records worldwide in his career, making him one of the most successful individual performers of all time . In his homeland alone , according to the record awards , he sold 30.7 million records. Tupac's most successful release is the compilation Greatest Hits, with sales of over 6.4 million units. In Germany the rapper was able to sell more than 650,000 records. All recordings released after Tupac's death on September 13, 1996 were published posthumously .
