Greg John Taylor (born November 5, 1997 in Greenock ) is a Scottish football player who is under contract with Celtic Glasgow .
Career
society
Greg Taylor began his career in St Andrews for the local Boys Club. In 2006 he joined the Glasgow Rangers youth academy , for which he played eight years. In July 2014, he moved from the Rangers U-17 to FC Kilmarnock . For the Killies he made his professional debut against Dundee United on the 37th match day of the Premiership season 2015/16 . In August 2016, Taylor's contract was extended. He was already a regular in Kilmarnock in the 2016/17 season . In April 2018, the contract was extended by three years after Taylor never missed a league game of the 2017/18 season. In September 2019 he moved to Celtic Glasgow .
National team
Greg Taylor made five caps for the Scottish U-20s in 2017 and scored one goal. He made his debut against the Czech Republic on May 31, 2017 , when he was in the starting XI. In his second game for the U-20s, he scored the winning goal against Brazil to make it 1-0. Before his debut in the U-20, Taylor played in the Scottish U-21 from March 2017 . On June 11, 2019 Taylor made his debut in the senior national team against Belgium .
