history

Habrovany belonged from 1341 to 1383 to the possessions of Thimo II of Colditz auf Krupka . Later the village was divided and mostly belonged to the Benedictine monastery Teplice and after its fall in the Hussite Wars to the Teplice rule. In 1512 the village was mentioned in the possession confirmation of Wladislaw II Jagiello for Johann and Bernhard von Waldstein auf Teplice. They were followed by Adam Lev von Rosental , who sold his property to Simon Třeštík von Hyršov in 1537. In 1561 Habrovany consisted of a farm and seven inns. Under Wolf von Vřesovice the rule was divided, and Habrovany came to the Malhostice manor. Kaspar the Elder bought this share in 1586. Ä. von Nostitz and Bellwitz and joined him to his rule Dobkovice . The other part of Habrovany belonged from 1592 to Friedrich von Biela auf Tschochau , who was executed as one of the leaders of the uprising on June 21, 1621 on the Old Town Square in Prague . In 1610, Johann Nikolaus Hochhauser von Hochhausen auf Hliňany together with the village Suchá also bought the Dobkovic part of Habrovany. In 1622 Hochhauser bought the other part of Habrovany with the fortress to his rule Hliňany from the confiscated property of Friedrich von Biela. Until the abolition of the Žim parish in 1699, Habrovany belonged to its district, after which Chochau became a parish. In the berní rula of 1654 22 properties are shown for Habrovany, three of which were desolate. The festivities ceased at the end of the 17th century and the manorial farm was sold to 14 settlers in 1804. After the battle of Kulm , Russians settled at the Peliken mill.

After the abolition of patrimonial Habrowan / Habrovany formed with the Peliken mill and the Russian houses from 1850 a political community in the judicial district of Außenig and the district of Außenig . The school was inaugurated in 1875. The Peliken mill and Russian houses were attached to the Staditz community in 1904.

The community of Habrowan had 256 inhabitants in 1930, most of whom were German. After the Munich Agreement , the community was added to the German Reich in 1938 and belonged to the Aussig district until 1945 . In 1939 the community had 248 inhabitants. In 1945 Habrovany returned to Czechoslovakia and the German residents were expelled . In 1948 the community was assigned to the Okres Ústí nad Labem-okolí and in 1961 again to the Okres Ústí nad Labem . Between 1980 and 1991 Habrovany was incorporated into Řehlovice . The community has existed again since the beginning of 1992.
