Voerde (Niederrhein) is the most important train station in Voerde (Niederrhein) . It is located northwest of the city center on the Oberhausen – Arnhem railway line . The station has been a stopping point since 1993.
history
The Voerde (Niederrhein) train station was opened in 1886.
The station building is used today as a cultural station.
Location and structure
The Voerde stop is located east of the city center on Bahnhofstrasse. The station is approx. 380 m as the crow flies and approx. 440 m on foot from Rathausplatz in the city center.
The stop has two side platforms.

Because the railway line is being expanded to three tracks as part of the Betuwe route , Voerde station is being redesigned. He should get a central platform within noise barriers.
Furthermore, in the course of the reaction, the VRR - Local Transport Plan give future some changes in regional rail transport offer, including a RE5 only until Wesel, a RB35 by Emmerich and Arnhem , and a RB41 for food and Wuppertal .

The Friedrichsfeld (Niederrhein) station is the second station in Voerde (Niederrhein). It is located in the Friedrichsfeld district on the Oberhausen – Arnhem railway line . The station has been a stopping point since 2011 .

The station was opened in 1880 on the Holland route. In 2011 it was downgraded to a breakpoint.

As part of the three-track expansion of the railway line as part of the Betuwe route , the Friedrichsfeld (Lower Rhine) stop will be redesigned. The central platform is to be replaced by two side platforms and the third track to be constructed in its place.
