Heidemarie Unterreiner (born February 24, 1944 in Tübingen ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ). Unterreiner was a member of the Austrian National Council from 2008 to 2013 .

education and profession

After graduating from high school, Heidemarie Unterreiner studied at the philosophical faculty of the Karl-Franzens-University in Graz . She completed her studies, teaching English and physical education, with the academic degree Mag .

politics

Unterreiner was chairwoman of the FPÖ in Vienna's 4th district of Wieden and a district councilor. Unterreiner later moved to the 1st district of Vienna, Innere Stadt, where she was district councilor and club chairwoman of the FPÖ district council group of the FPÖ. She was also the chairwoman of the FPÖ Inner City and was most recently elected honorary chairwoman of the district party. Unterreiner was a councilor and member of the Vienna State Parliament as well as the Third President of the Vienna State Parliament. She ran for the National Council election in 2008 in the Vienna regional constituency and moved into the National Council through the regional constituency. She was sworn in on October 28, 2008 and, as area spokeswoman for the FPÖ parliamentary club, took on the agendas of equal treatment, culture and human rights. Unterreiner had already been cultural spokeswoman for the FPÖ in Vienna during her time as a member of the FPÖ state parliament.

After the 2013 National Council election, Unterreiner renounced her National Council mandate in favor of Petra Steger .

Private

Unterreiner is divorced and has two children.
