IC 199 = IC 1778 is a spiral galaxy with extensive star formation areas of the Hubble type Sab in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is around 417 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 170,000 ly.
In the same area of ​​the sky there are galaxies IC 198 , IC 201 , IC 202 , IC 203 .

The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on December 15, 1892 .
