IC 200 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBbc in the constellation Triangle in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 241 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 145,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky is the galaxy NGC 804 .
The galaxy was often confused with PGC 8064 in the past and is still listed that way in some databases today .
The object was discovered by Truman Henry Safford on December 1, 1866 .
