NGC 804 = IC 1773 is a lens-shaped galaxy of the Hubble-type S0 in the constellation Triangle in the northern sky . It is an estimated 241 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 100,000 ly.
In the same area of ​​the sky are the galaxies NGC 778 and IC 200 , among others .

The object was discovered on September 7, 1885 by the American astronomer Lewis A. Swift (as NGC 804 ) and on December 24, 1897 by the French astronomer Guillaume Bigourdan (as IC 1773 ).
