IC 180 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sb in the constellation Aries on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 224 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 50,000 ly.

The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on December 15, 1892 .
