NGC 794 = IC 191 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type E / S0 in the constellation Aries on the ecliptic . It is about 371 million light years away from the Milky Way and is about 190,000 light years in diameter .

The object was discovered on October 15, 1784 by William Herschel .
