Igor Ivanovich Dobrowolski ( Russian Игорь Иванович Добровольский ; born August 27, 1967 in Markowo, Rosdilna Rajon , Odessa Oblast , Ukrainian SSR ) is a former Soviet or Russian football player and current football coach .

He won the gold medal with the Soviet team at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul and took part as a player in the 1990 World Cup and the 1992 and 1996 European Championships . In 1990 he was voted Soviet Footballer of the Year as a player for FK Dynamo Moscow .

From 1996 to 1999 Dobrowolski played for Fortuna Düsseldorf , for this club he completed 54 games and scored a total of 14 goals. In January 2007 he took over as coach of the Moldovan national soccer team . He resigned from this post on October 16, 2009 after missing qualification for the 2010 World Cup.
