Isaac "Ike" Thomas (born November 4, 1947 in Calcasieu Parish , Louisiana , USA ) is a former American American football player. He played as a kick returner in the National Football League (NFL) with the Dallas Cowboys , Green Bay Packers and the Buffalo Bills .

Player career

Ike Thomas visited in Hot Springs , Arkansas , the High School . After graduating from school, he studied at Bishop College and was nominated for a selection game because of his athletic performance as a college football player . Thomas was founded in 1971 by by Tom Landry assisted Dallas Cowboys in the second round in 51 out drafted . With the team from Dallas he also achieved his greatest sporting success. The Cowboys won eleven of 14 games in his rookie game year in the regular season and thus moved into the play-offs , where they first met the Minnesota Vikings . For the 20:12 victory of his team over the team from Minnesota , Thomas was able to contribute two kick returns with a gain of space of 31 yards . After a 14: 3 win over the San Francisco 49ers in the ensuing NFC Championship Game , his team managed a 24: 3 victory in Super Bowl VI against the Miami Dolphins, trained by Don Shula .

In the next two years Thomas played for from Dan Devine supervised Green Bay Packers and then moved into the World Football League (WFL) to the Charlotte Hornets / New York Stars before the year 1975 for those of Lou Saban trained Buffalo Bills aground . After three years playing in the Canadian Football League (CFL) with the Toronto Argonauts and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats , he ended his career.

After the career

Ike Thomas worked as a probation officer after his career . He is married with four children and is socially committed with his own foundation.
