The Jütrichauer Busch is a nature reserve in the town of Zerbst / Anhalt in the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district in Saxony-Anhalt .

The nature reserve with the registration number NSG 0041 is around 25  hectares in size. It is from the conservation area surrounded "Zerbster Nuthe valleys". The area has been under protection since the beginning of 1926 (date of the ordinance: January 25, 1926), at that time still as "Grove of Jütrichau" or "Grove north of Jütrichau" with a size of 21.6 hectares. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Anhalt-Bitterfeld.

The nature reserve is located southeast of Zerbst / Anhalt between the districts of Luso and Jütrichau on the edge of the Fläming Nature Park . It puts the rest of a forest in Zerbster arable land under protection. The forest grows on mostly boggy and boggy locations and has a high proportion of dead wood . It is formed in the west by Rasenschmielen- Erlenbruch and in the east by bird cherry-alder-ash forest. The herb layer is made up of spring flowers such as celandine , wood anemone , Märzenbecher and forest ragweed . Furthermore, Carex Acutiformis , hairgrass , Herb Paris , nettle-leaved bellflower and Stachys sylvatica find. A special feature is the occurrence of the rabbit bell , which is considered a neophyte . In the bush layer is u. a. Find red dogwood .

Drier locations are occupied by shed root, oak and hornbeam forests in a flutter grass or forest ziest training. In the herb layer grow u. a. Golden nettle , forest ragweed , musk herb , forest ziest and woodgrass grass . Furthermore, u. a. Bracken , two-leaved shade flower and soft honeydew grass can be found.

The high proportion of dead wood in the Jütrichauer Busch provides a basis for life for numerous wood-destroying fungus species. So settle here z. B. different helmets .

In the forest area, grassland areas are embedded in places , which are designed as carrot- oat meadows with meadow silage or, in damp locations, as angelica- cabbage thistle meadow with marsh marigold and brook avens .

The forest area is home to various birds including red kite , buzzard , woodcock , middle woodpecker , fieldfare , ortolan , barn warbler and wheatear . Various ground beetles could also be detected.

The nature reserve borders primarily on agricultural land to the south and east . Further forest areas adjoin to the north and east.
