The Brambach is a nature reserve in the independent city of Dessau-Roßlau and the city of Southern Anhalt in the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district in Saxony-Anhalt .

The nature reserve with the registration number NSG 0092 is 83.04  hectares in size. It is mostly the part FFH area "Brambach southwest Dessau" and mostly in the area of the city Dessau from the conservation area surrounded "Mosigkauer Heide". The area has been under protection since 1926 (date of ordinance: January 25, 1926). Responsible lower nature conservation authorities are the city of Dessau-Roßlau and the district of Anhalt-Bitterfeld.

The nature reserve is located southwest of Kochstedt , a district of Dessau-Roßlau. It places a largely wooded area in a depression in the west of the Mosigkauer Heide under protection. The area is characterized by a pipe grass and pedunculate oak forest with red dogwood and common hazel . Sedge- alder quarry forest grows on areas with high groundwater .

Floristic features in the nature reserve are u. a. Broad-leaved sitter , large two-leaf , white and greenish forest hyacinth , shrimp , forest sanicle , swamp sword lily and Hartman's sedge . The forests are the habitat of honey buzzard , common buzzard , red and black kite , kestrel , non-ferrous , small and green woodpecker , wryneck , red-backed shrike , garden and Treecreeper , Golden Oriole , Wren and monks , garden , Sperber- , Dorngras- and Klappergrasmücke .
