Jean-Pierre Genet (born October 24, 1940 in Brest , † March 15, 2005 in Loctudy ) was a French cyclist .

In 1963 he was able to win a stage of the Peace Tour , in which he was the first French to wear the yellow jersey for three days. After a fall, he retired from the race.

From 1964 to 1976 he was a professional. He rode the Tour de France 13 times and was able to win one stage each in 1968, 1971 and 1974.
