Johannes Herrschmann (born February 25, 1959 in Landshut ) is a German theater and film actor .

Life

Herrschmann completed an apprenticeship at the University of the Arts in Berlin from 1980 to 1984 . In 1983 he co-founded the Berliner Theater zum western Stadthirschen , in which, in addition to his work as an actor and director, he also acted as a partner until 2002.

In the 13-part series München 7 of Franz Xaver Bogner in the program of the Bavarian Radio , the actor in 2004 played the policeman Karl Haun . In the Lower Bavarian comedy Grenzverkehr , Herrschmann appeared in the cinema alongside Götz Otto , Hans Schuler and Saskia Vester in 2005. In 2008 he played the comedian Karl Valentin in the television film Liesl Karlstadt and Karl Valentin by Jo Baier .
