June Park is a census-designated place (CDP) in Brevard County in the US state of Florida with 4094 inhabitants (as of 2010).
geography
June Park is adjacent to the cities of West Melbourne and Melbourne Village . The CDP is crossed by Interstate 95 and US Highway 192 ( SR 500 ). It is located about 65 km south of Titusville and about 100 km southeast of Orlando . The Melbourne International Airport is located 5 km away.
Demographic data
According to the 2010 census, the 4094 inhabitants at that time were distributed among 1853 households. The population density was 422.1 inh / km². 92.8% of the population identified themselves as whites, 1.2% as African American , 0.6% as Indians and 1.4% as Asian Americans . 1.0% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 2.9% to several ethnic groups. 5.2% of the population was Hispanic or Latino .
In 2010 children under 18 years of age and 33.4% of all households lived in 25.5% of all households with persons at least 65 years of age. 69.0% of the households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring). The average household size was 2.43 people and the average family size was 2.86 people.
