Junkere 37

The Junkere 37 was a basement restaurant at the Junkerngasse in the Swiss capital, where took place from 1964 to 1975 more than 300 discussion evenings, led by Walter Zurich . It is considered the most important meeting point for the Swiss nonconformist movement of the 1960s, a podium for writers such as Theodor W. Adorno , Peter Bichsel , Sergius Golowin , Kurt Marti , René E. Mueller and Jörg Steiner .

The estate of Zeno Zürcher , part of the Nonconformism Archive Fredi Lerch , archived in the Swiss Literature Archive , contains virtually all of the still existing (including audio and film) documents from Junkere 37 .
