Junkers K 53

The Junkers K 53 aircraft from Junkers is the military version of the single-engine low- wing aircraft Junkers A 35 . The A 35 was equipped with the Junkers L 5 engine by AB Flygindustri in Limhamn .

Two machine guns were installed in front of the pilot's seat , while the observer 's seat was equipped with a slewing ring and a machine gun.

Some of this type were delivered to Turkey , 20 to the Soviet Union and 21 to China .

The primary operational role was armed reconnaissance and ground combat support. It was also possible to use the K 53 as a light fighter aircraft.
