The Kraftshofer Forst is a community-free area in the Central Franconian district of Erlangen-Höchstadt .

The 12.18 km² large state forest is part of the Sebalder Reichswald east of the Nuremberg districts Neunhof and Kraftshof . In the north, the community-free areas Neunhofer Forst , Kalchreuther Forst and Geschaidt border. The federal highway 2 forms the eastern border with the Erlenstegen forest , at the intersection of which with the A3 motorway running through the area is the junction Nuremberg-North. On the southern edge, north of Nuremberg Airport, is the Nuremberg Golf Club. In the southeast, Buchenbühl protrudes into the area; the Graefenbergbahn from Nuremberg begins here to cross the area in a wide arc from south to east. The Buchenbühl is at 390.8 m above sea level.
