The Wesermarsch constituency is a state constituency in Lower Saxony. From 1982 to 2003 it comprised only part of the Wesermarsch district , since 2008 it has comprised it completely. For the 2013 state election , the municipality of Rastede from the Ammerland district was also added to the Wesermarsch constituency, which had previously been part of the Ammerland constituency .

State election 2017

For the state election in Lower Saxony in 2017 , six direct candidates ran in the Wesermarsch constituency. The directly elected MP is Klaus-Peter Bachmann ( SPD ). Björn Thümler ( CDU ), Dragos Pancescu ( GREEN ) and Horst Kortlang ( FDP ) also entered the Lower Saxony state parliament via the state list . The constituency had the constituency number 71.

For the Lower Saxony state election, 2013 occurred in the constituency Wesermarsch eleven parties. Five of them had put up direct candidates. The directly elected MP is Björn Thümler ( CDU ). Ina Korter ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ) and Horst Kortlang ( FDP ) also moved into the Lower Saxony state parliament via the state list, and Karin Logemann ( SPD ) as a successor in 2014 .
