The Unterweser constituency is an electoral district for the Lower Saxony state parliament . From the district of Cuxhaven it includes the communities Beverstedt , Hagen im Bremischen , Loxstedt and from the district Osterholz the community Schwanewede and the joint community Hambergen .

Until the state elections in 2013, it comprised the municipalities of Loxstedt and Schiffdorf and the joint municipality of Hagen from the district of Cuxhaven and the municipality of Schwanewede and the joint municipality of Hambergen from the district of Osterholz.

For the state election in Lower Saxony in 2017 , nine direct candidates ran in the Unterweser constituency. The MP Oliver Lottke ( SPD ) was directly elected . Eva Viehoff ( Alliance 90 / The Greens ) also entered the Lower Saxony state parliament via the state list . The constituency had constituency number 59.
