The Buchholz constituency is an electoral district for the Lower Saxony state parliament . From the district of Harburg, it includes the town of Buchholz in the north heath and the combined communities of Hollenstedt , Jesteburg and Tostedt .
In the state elections in 1947 and 1951, the constituency was still called Harburg-Wilhelmsburg , in the elections from 1955 to 1978 Harburg-Buchholz and from 1982 the current name Buchholz . The constituency number was number 59 until 1978, number 66 from 1982 to 1998, number 64 in 2003 and number 52 from 2008.
