Lee Kyu-hyeok (born March 15, 1978 in Seoul ) is a former South Korean speed skater who specialized in sprint routes.

Lee Kyu-hyeok competed in the 1994 , 1998 , 2002 , 2006 , 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics . In 2002 he reached fifth place over the 500 meter course in Salt Lake City . In 2006 he finished fourth over the 1000 meter course. At the individual distance world championship in 2001 he was able to achieve a fourth place over the 1000 meters and a fifth place over the 500 meters. At the Asian Championships he won the bronze medal in 1998 (over 1500 meters) and 1998 (over 500 meters), and even silver over the 1000 meters in 1997. He achieved his best placement in the overall World Cup in 2006 over the sprint distance with fourth place. He won world cup races three times. There are also 13 national titles between 2000 and 2005.

In 1996 Lee set a junior world record over 500 meters, in 1997 over 1000 meters in the senior category and in 2001 over 1500 meters.

At the 2011 World Championships in Inzell , he was world champion over 2 × 500 m.

In April 2014, Lee announced his resignation. He was a member of the national team for 23 years and the first South Korean athlete to compete in six Olympic Games in a row.
