The men's high jump at the 1954 European Athletics Championships was held on August 27 and 29, 1954 in the Neufeld Stadium in Bern .

In this competition there were two medals for Czechoslovakia: silver and bronze. The Swedish European record holder Bengt Nilsson became European champion . He won ahead of Jiří Lanský and Jaroslav Kovář.
