The Kenya Athletics Federation plans to take part in the 2019 World Athletics Championships in Doha . 54 athletes were registered by the association, with the 5000 meter runners Michael Kibet and Daniel Simiyu being refused entry because they had not been tested for doping three times outside of the competition.
