The Lindbusch is a nature reserve in the unified municipality of Salzatal in the Saale district in Saxony-Anhalt .

The nature reserve with the registration number NSG 0116 is 20.6  hectares in size. It is completely part of the FFH area "Dölauer Heide and Lindbusch near Halle". In the northeast it borders on the landscape protection area "Dölauer Heide". The area has been under protection since May 1, 1961 (date of regulation: March 30, 1961). The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the Saalekreis.

The nature reserve is located west of Halle (Saale) in the south of the Lower Saale Valley Nature Park . It protects a near-natural forest area and a semi- arid grassland adjoining it in the south-west on a steep slope that drops approximately 30 meters to the north and west on the edge of the ground moraine plateau of the Dölauer Heide . The forest is characterized by sessile oak-hornbeam forest , oak-mixed forest and hornbeam-elm hillside forest, rich in winter linden . The herb layer of the forest communities is mainly formed by spring bloomers as well as the Turk's Union , Diptam , dwarf spur , oak lettuce , German elephant and colored pearl grass . In addition, various mushrooms can be found , including the eyelashed earth star , mouse gray Scheidling and steppe coral. The lawn is covered with bushes to varying degrees.

The forests in the nature reserve provide a suitable habitat for various birds , including black and red kites , hawks , long-eared owls and middle-aged woodpeckers . The bushy lawns are the habitat of red-backed shrike , great gray shrike , quail , goldhammer and black warbler , all of which also breed here. Insects are u. a. represented by various beetles , including ground beetles such as the little doll robber and the short-domed ground beetle , jewel beetles such as raspberry jewel beetles and shining flower beetles, as well as longhorn beetles such as deep-eyed oak , matte black disc- beetle , little beautiful billy goat and cochineal beetle . Various snails are also native to the nature reserve, including the rough nappy snail and the beaded cylinder nappy snail .
