The slopes of the Saale near Dobis are a nature reserve in the town of Wettin-Löbejün in the Saale district in Saxony-Anhalt .

The nature reserve with the registration number NSG 0113 is 15.04  hectares in size. It is almost completely part of the FFH area "Saale breakthrough near Rothenburg". In the west it borders on the nature reserve “ Saale Gorge near Rothenburg ”, to the east the landscape protection area “Saale” connects . The area has been under protection since 1967 (date of regulation: September 11, 1967). The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the Saalekreis .

The nature reserve is located in the Lower Saale Valley nature park south of the Rothenburg district and northwest of the Dobis district of the city of Wettin-Löbejün. It protects a steep slope exposed to the west or south-west, over 70 meters high, with rock corridors, rock platforms, dry grassland , dry shrubbery and heather on the right bank in the breakthrough valley of the Saale . A small quarry is included in the nature reserve .

In the nature reserve are u. a. Real feather grass , Haarpfriemengras , Shaggy Spitzkiel and pulsatilla vulgaris find. On projections fescue-feather grass companies settle with sand cinquefoil , Rispenflockenblume , pale wallflower , cleavers blue green , meadow sage and Astloser's Lily . Shrubs, including very old dwarf medlars, settle in runways and hollows . Locust trees were planted in places and spread out over the open areas. Other species that spread to the open areas are stone softsel , common barberry and various dog roses and hawthorns . Around 6.42 hectares of the nature reserve are grazed with goats to maintain and push back the bushes.

The nature reserve is the habitat of numerous birds . So here are u. a. Reversible neck , red-backed shrike , nightingale and wheatear native. The dry locations offer a habitat for a species-rich insect fauna , including the butterflies Malvendickkopffalter , yellow steppe grass borer and various feather moths , as well as ground beetles and jewel beetles ( glossy flower beetles ).

To the east, on the plateau areas, agricultural areas adjoin the nature reserve.
